HAHAHH MARIO FART! GET IT?

[i]sprang:

I read deathly's post on how much she's changed from the past few years. I guess at around this age you really realize how much you change over time. (If the person changes at all, everything's relative.)

Not going too far back (The days where I would write fanfics for stupid shit like TTA or Sonic. PG13 ofcourse, I was never into smut fiction and compared to the other fanfics I've read, they weren't too bad. Just really dumb cuz they were fanfics.) I noticed one really big change besides not being so damn emo.

I have better judgement. Haha wow, I would trust anyone. It would take a person a lot of lying for me to finally distrust them. I learned that from a few moochers in highschool. Joke's on them, since if they keep that shit up, they aren't gett'n anywhere. I would laugh at stupid shit I didn't find funny. See, other people found it funny and I looked up to them because they were popular. (I wanted to establish internet popularity of some sort, whatev I was stupid) Well, since they found it funny, I guess it must be funny and I'm missing something. HAHAHAHA no, it just wasn't funny. I fooled myself into laughing at retarded shit. That's not to say I didn't have bad taste back then since I was friends with like... the biggest drama babies ever.

Uhm, I felt climbing up a ladder of popularity was fun and some sort of adventure. This was around mid-highschool. I was a whiny emo shit back then hahaha people thought I was crazy. You could say I was "socially atrophied" due to some shit with schools way back, not really that important.

After the stupid drama shit, I felt better by making fun of people. Like, everyone lol. Started trolling and just generally being a dork. Uhm, about half a year ago, I went like... Total opposite emo. I was usually really happy and optimistic which was awesome. Now, I'm like... establishing a more mellow mood.

I dropped my stupid paranoid personality shit because it was eating me up inside. I would remember shit people did to me and get angry about it. I would get mad over shit that happened to me when I was a little kid. Even if it was my fault, I wouldn't admit to it. A couple times, I had it coming XD

Artwise, hahahaha furries I still draw silly cartoons but I'm slowly expanding in my abilities. I should get back to figure drawing again. I've been playing with different mediums and I've gotten better with my plush. The first plush I made (A craptastic plush of prismaya which she prolly threw away [I would lol]) really contrasts to what I can do today.

tl;dr made real friends, better judge of character and I don't draw super animu shit lol

[i]the_wise_mankey: "I WANT CHEESE! CHEESE, MY FRIENDS!"

I pity those who don't recognize that quote. XD

Anyway, I'm once again only getting 15 hours of work this week. Again, NOT COOL. A week or two before, I had come forward to the managers and asking how I can earn more at work. And not just by trying to get more hours, too. They had told me currently, the only way I can do that is by working in the photo lab. Not what I was expecting but I could go with it. But I haven't heard any details as to when they would get me started with training in that. I'm guessing perhaps it'll happen after I get back from seeing Meaghan later this month, but I'm hoping they do it SOON.

In other news I finished watching all of Yakitate!! Japan a little earlier. The series was great, but I kinda felt as though there should have been more to it. But then again, you can only watch a show that's centered around baking bread for so long, I suppose. Guess it's just that a part of me wanted a little more in character development. Not to mention the ending kinda left some things unexplained and other issues hanging. Still, for what it was worth it was good while it lasted. Thanks to the show in general I have a deeper appreciation for bread now. (And the newfound fanbase for Monica Adenauer, but that's another story...)

Also, I forgot to mention this but the other day I got into a Skype chat with Cailen and some of the people participating in that "Colosseum" thing that's going on over at DA. Some nice people, I must say. Besides Nexus, I had not gotten a hold of their DA accounts so I could look at their art...Cailen, if you're reading this, mind linking me to them here?

Enough of this jibber-jabber, I'ma try and make some progress with what little I've done in MGS4...

[i]hbom: There and back again

Harebo's tip for the day - don't get hammered in a different town when you have work in the morning... x___x

But backstory! Last night self ventured into sunny Paisley for the Andrew Weatherall gig/club night at Club 69 (titter), alongside local figures [info]arachnademus and [info]deepfriedmango. 'Twas electrotastic! Totally crowded, dark and sweaty with no air conditioning, just like clubs used ta be! Got chatting to a random 35-year-old who felt like he was the oldest guy there... I found it amusing and charitable to call him 'Junior' all night. Also less confusing, since his actual name was 'Maz'...

I love the West End! It's full of rubbish!

West End rubbish often consists of perfectly good furniture like the sweeeet extending wooden dinner table we found in our street and shamelessly staggered off with. Srsly, I'd expect to see it in a charity shop for, like, 70 quid. Or, in our dining room, gratis. Now to steal some chairs!

- - - -
So, my bank card expired. And the replacement was sent to my ex's, who sent it back. And now I can't access my cash unless I physically walk into a bank, which I physically can't do as I'm as physically at work all day. (Well, not that physically.) So, no cash for me until my next day off and no new card for two weeks! Teach me to change my banking address sooner. -___-

Bugger, missed this month's comic artists meetup. We did get a bit carried away with our impromptu furniture-assembling party...

Anyway, just need to watch last week's Doctor Who (the Time Lord fae Paisley - see a pattern? ) and I'm almost all caught up. Nae spoilers!

[i]the_wise_mankey: Maybe I could get some of Snake's nanomachines...

I really wish I wasn't going into work so many times feeling like I need to take a nap.

Not much has happened. I got Pip the Metal Gear Solid collection bundle for my birthday present to him. I woulda gotten it sooner, but it wasn't avaliable at the time. He'll have plenty time to play them, too. Considering he just finished MGS4.

I should say I'm playing MGS4 too. I'm not as good with it as I thought I would, but I'm getting used to it. But I more or less watched the majority of it when Pip played it. Ame was right, this IS a 10-hour movie with a 3-hour game stuck in it. A GOOD 3-hour game, but still...

I finished my 3rd project for Game Development, but I can't show it off in any medium because it would require people to install Visual Basic with C++ capabilities in order to see them. Let's just say I was able to make Hangman and Tic-Tac-Toe with my face in it and call that a day.

And not for nothing, but as far as WWE programming goes...this had to be one of the best weeks ever. :D

I'm off now.

Nolan plush update c:

It took me an hour or so to make the hat. I didn't feel like ordering a stripped fabric so I made my own. It's for the best since I don't think I'd ever find a stripped fabric like this for sale. For very cheap anyway. This way, I was able to make sure the stripes go down the hat and not just in one direction so it would go according to the drawings.

Pictures under the cut )

I plan to keep his ears limp because his body is filled with beans and I want to preserve the rag doll feel. His head and the rest of him is filled with stuffing. His hat is empty though, since I want to keep it as it supposed to be, an empty hat.

oh btw pictures of my cat lol )

Ha! Trying to get a graduate account is like trying to pull TEETH! Who'd've thought I'd be on the phone to HM Revenue and Customs to get ID for a bank account Oo! Apparently a provisional driving lisence isn't good enough, you have to know how to drive before you can have one xD (i.e. Full license == fine, provisional license == GTFO!). However, the guys I spoke to were nice enough to arrange for the tax stuff to get sent out to the new place, so at least something good's come of my day. Hoorah. I also need to find out if a provisional license is ok to use on domestic flights. Since I need to sort Amecon travel arrangements soon. I just don't want to buy tickets and then find I have no passport or whatever to use them :(

Although I need a new passport anyway... Maybe I'll fill out the forms tonight and post them down to get signatures tomorrow. I don't need fast track or anything like that, I guess. We shall see :)

Also tonight, I'm tidying the house. Craig and I had a tiff last night, and I feel rubbish that we haven't made up yet. So, my energies shall be thrown into tidying! I need furniture monies :(

PS: War beta codes came in today. I'm quite excited :)

So yesterday I went ahead and graduated. Lots of ceremony involved, but it was, nonetheless, an impressive affair. And I probably won't get to do it again, so what the heck :) It was nice to see everyone again, and once my parents send me the pictures, they'll be going up on bebo or something, so keep your eyes peeled.

Now I have the rubbish job of trying to open a student account with RBS. Apparently if I don't drive, my ID's not good enough :O i.e. they don't seem to accept provisional driving lisences once you're over 20. Which is silly imho Oo;; So I'm going to pop into a branch today to see if I can brow beat them into it.

Fun fun fun :)

But now! To work! :D

Wow. I never thought I'd be making a journal entry titled that.

Well, it finally happened. I graduated today! The ceremony was long, but bearable, and seeing everyone again in all their pride and glory was such a warm, happy feeling.

There we have it! It's finally over, we can go sleep! Well done everyone, and thanks to everyone for attending and keeping my spirits up throughout all these years of hard work.

EDUMACATION: GET!!

It's update time! *watches you all run away* >:

Back in Birmingham over summer. I've already seen the car break down again and it's been less than a week! XD

I stole [info]avalix0's job in Derby over summer. Means I have to commute - I only work one day a week because of it - but at £8 an hour, I'm not complaining.

Tokonatsu and AmeCon plans have been made (well, insomuch as getting there). For Toko, I'll be in MK really rather early (about 10:30), mainly because I'm meeting up with [info]avalix0 and Aura at MK Central for a coffee or six before heading over to the campsite (they're travelling early, so I figured I'd join 'em). For AmeCon, I might well be visiting [info]avalix0 in Guildford before going to Leicester. Depends on my monetary situation, which is currently pretty dire - but hopefully being paid will ease things a little.

Yup, that's about it for now.
